Reminders & recurring tasks

Reminders do the chasing so your head doesn't have to — and both reminders and recurring tasks are available on the free plan.

Setting a reminder

A reminder needs a date and a time. The fastest way is quick-add — dentist tomorrow 3pm sets both — or open any task and pick them in the editor. Croniqs delivers reminders as push notifications and email, and never schedules one for a time that has already passed.

For push notifications, allow notifications when your browser asks (you can change this later in your notification settings). Email reminders go to your account address.

Recurring tasks

Any task can repeat: open it, set Repeat, and choose the rhythm. When you complete a recurring task, the next occurrence is created automatically — routines like “water the plants” or “weekly review” keep themselves on the list.

The free plan includes 2 recurring tasks; Pro removes the limit. The in-app editor shows how many you’re using.

Good to know

  • Reminders and labels are free by design — we don’t believe in charging for the basics.
  • A time without a date in quick-add (call mom at 5pm) schedules the next occurrence of that time — today or tomorrow — and sets the reminder.
  • Notification preferences (task notifications, marketing emails) live in your account settings; marketing email is off by default.
